The Effect of Integrated KPI Dashboards on Assessment Accuracy and Efficiency in Faculty Performance Functions.

Abstract

Higher education institutions are responsible for maintaining the quality of education, research, and community service, which is heavily dependent on lecturer performance. At Perbanas Institute, the evaluation process is currently conducted manually or semi-manually using spreadsheets, leading to issues such as data fragmentation, time-consuming evaluations, and a lack of real-time transparency. This study aims to develop a web-based Lecturer Performance Assessment and Monitoring System utilizing Key Performance Indicators (KPI). The system was designed through a Software Requirements Specification (SRS) approach to ensure objectivity, efficiency, and integrated data management. Key features include automated activity input, evidence uploading for lecturers, and real-time monitoring dashboards for department heads and management. The results of this implementation provide a reliable platform with 24/7 accessibility and secure authentication, significantly reducing the administrative burden of performance tracking. This system is expected to enhance transparency and provide Perbanas Institute management with accurate data for strategic decision-making in human resource development and academic quality improvement.
