Abstract

This study aims to test the effect of sectors that are able to complement the green building in influencing the regional economy in DIY. This study also adds elements of environmental externalities obtained from year to year and the average of DIY EQI change into the calculation of the Input-Output Table. The analytical tool used in ths study is I-O analysis. In general, the result of this study indicate that the application of green building can be a hope for the Government in implementing pro-environmental economic growth. The researcher found that green building which adheres to the concept of weak complimentary theory will be appropriate when applied to the design of priority development cities for development pruposes such as in construction and real estate sectors.
