Education Election Household Waste Based on Environment and Family in Situsari Village, Cileungsi, Bogor Regency, West Java

Abstract

This Community Service Activity (PKM) titled “Education on Household Waste Sorting Based on Environment and Family” was carried out in Situsari Village, Cileungsi, Bogor Regency. The objective is to increase community awareness about the importance of sorting household waste and positioning the family as the main agent of environmentally friendly behavioral change. The activity used participatory methods through education and discussion sessions such as types of household waste based on their classifications. The results showed increased understanding and active participation of residents in waste sorting and the circular economy potential. The family-based approach proved more effective in building sustainable habits in household waste sorting and management.
