Abstract

This study was motivated by the need for service standardization at ‘Kantin Kita’ of Bank Jakarta, which demands high operational efficiency and guaranteed hygiene standards. As the primary food and beverage provider for bank’s employees, Kantin Kita faced challenges in transaction speed due to heavy reliance on cash payments, alongside an urgent need to update its sanitation protocols. The objectives of this study were to implement digital transformation in the payment system and to educate vendors on Food Hygiene and Sanitation (FHS) standards. The implementation methodology comprised field surveys, intensive workshops, technical assistance for QRIS merchant registration, and periodic evaluations. The results demonstrated a significant 40% improvement in transaction time efficiency and a marked increase in vendor awareness of workplace hygiene practices. In conclusion, the integration of financial technology with health education proved capable of enhancing the competitiveness of canteen MSMEs within a modern banking ecosystem. It is recommended that a future online ordering system be developed to minimize queues during peak lunch hours.
